There is alot that could be improved on this robot as alot was done to make sure it was finished for a deadline.
You really need to look at what you want to accomplish and how much you want to spend when designing.
Having separate power supply for motors with 4.5 voltage regulator and 5v power supply to picaxe helped with programing.
A cover or top to protect all the components could have been added, but this would add more weight .
